He handed her a canvas and asked her to paint their love.
but it was late by then,
She had already given up painting.
The canvas remained blank but her tears painted their love story

They met after ages. As he took her hand in his hand, time stood still. She was his everything. She was his twin flame, a much part of him ...
He handed her a canvas and asked her to paint their love.
but it was late by then,
She had already given up painting.
The canvas remained blank but her tears painted their love story

SELF LOVE
The most underestimated form of Love.
How many of us practice this form of Love? How many of us exactly know what it means to practice this form of love? I doubt hardly a few.. We live in a world of illusion, we look for things outside without first searching it in ourself. When is the last time we appreciated ourself for an achievment? when did we last say I am beautiful just standing in front of the mirror? When did we make ourself feel special? When did we last pamper ourself? When did we last forgive ourself instead of carrying the guilt of small little things which hardly matter in this long run of life ..too many questions isn't it but have we ever asked these things to ourself..I believe NO.
Instead of questioning ourself and finding the answers to these ,all we have done is Expecting.. Expecting to be loved,to be appreciated,to be made feel special, to be longed, to be praised,to be cared for.. We have always wanted validation from others ,we have always been dependent on others for love, for care..In this long run of life all we do is Take ourself for granted.
It is said "Do to yourself what you want others to do to you". You cannot truly love another until you know how to love yourself .To be beautiful in others eyes, you should feel beautiful first. To receive appreciation from others you should first learn to Pat your own back first. We must remember..A jar which is filled to it's brim has only the potential to overflow but with a half full jar it is never possible.
Don't look for validation from others, don't expect people to appreciate you, to pamper you to make you feel special
Do things for yourself first, be your own hero, pamper yourself with self love,it's the best medicine and see life would change around you.People wouldn't be depressed anymore, people wouldn't die of neglect,of lack of love, everything would be beautiful around. Be your own best friend, pat your own back when you achieve something ,big or small doesn't matter, smile in front of the mirror say to yourself "mein apni fav Hoon" ,laugh a lot, treat yourself with things you like be it gulping down buckets of ice cream or chocolate laden brownies, pamper yourself, take care of your body,it's the only place you get to live, buy your own birthday gifts, take your own decisions, take frequent breaks, spend quality time in nature, exercise regularly, practice gratitude, give yourself sufficient ME time.Trust me there is nothing wrong with practicing Self Love rather it rejuvenates you/recharges your mind, makes you ready for the errands that life throws upon you.
Remember You are important not for anyone else but for yourself first .Affirm this to yourself 1000 times a day and once you have imprinted this thought in ur mind and heart you shall start seeing the miracle happen in your life.
Life is too short..Don't make the bad days think you have a bad life. Take life positively and take yourself seriously,do things for yourself orelse you would die regretting and complaining of things you could have done for yourself..I have met a lot of people in my life who constantly complain of things they didn't do in life because life and priorities took over.. be it family pressure,be it children, be it their own fear, or be it the pressure of society and all they have now is baggages of regrets that they would carry with themselves till the very end.I don't want things to be that way for us.The time is NOW start taking the control of your life before life takes control of you.
You have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens
He saw her puffy swollen eyes
He heard her quivering tone
He saw her thoughts, her identity being crushed under the patriarchy of so called society norms.
yet he chose to stay mum,
yet again ..
His so called 'sanskaar' towards his parents won the battle against his responsibility towards his better half.
does humanity really exist? is it wrong to point out something that is actually wrong and u call it a progressive world..
